The U.S. Department of State’s “Towards a More Safe and Secure World” Initiative brings approximately
100 political, security, and counterterrorism officials to the United States to examine multilateral
cooperation among partner nations and the threat that extremism poses to international peace and security.
Meridian International Center invites submission of proposals from members of the IVLP Preferred Hotel
List – NYC, for the 2020 “Towards a More Safe and Secure World” Initiative. The international visitors
are traveling under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State, as are the accompanying Interpreters and
International Visitor Liaisons.
