The U.S. Department of State’s "Towards a More Safe and Secure World" Initiative brings approximately 70 law enforcement, security, and counternarcotic officials from around the world to the United States each year to examine mutual threats to international peace and security, including border threats, narcotics trafficking, money laundering, terrorism, trafficking in persons, and cyber security.

Meridian International Center invites submission of proposals from members of the IVLP Preferred Hotel List – NYC and their sister properties, for the "Towards a More Safe and Secure World" Initiative. The international visitors are traveling under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State, as are the accompanying Interpreters and International Visitor Liaisons.

Responses to the RFP for the "Towards a More Safe and Secure World" should be submitted by following the survey link by Close of Business on Friday, January 25, 2019. Submissions should answer every survey question in as much detail as possible and demonstrate the capability and willingness to perform the Required Services listed in the RFP.
