Summary of Position:
Cleaning and housekeeping duties to include but not limited to vacuuming / mopping, waste removal, dusting, and re-stocking of paper and chemical products are essentials of the position. Event support duties to include but not limited to care of linens, dishes and flatware, table and equipment set up and breakdown, and preparation of and set up of drinks, foods and general banquet support as needed. Must have flexibility at shift’s end based on event demands. Lastly, safety and security duties include securing exterior doors and windows and critical offices while performing janitorial and event duties, and reporting any/all safety and maintenance issues at the conclusion of the shift.
This position is located in Washington D.C. and Meridian requires MD, DC, or VA residence for all employees. Effective January 4, 2022, all Meridian staff are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless a reasonable medical or religious accommodation is approved.
This position will work 2:00pm – 10:45pm. Flexibility of start time is possible, but must have flexibility for end time based on organizational needs.
