Insights @ Meridian Briefing with Assistant Secretary Clarke Cooper | October 31

In this discussion focused on cooperation and competition among world powers on security and defense, senior members of the foreign diplomatic corps will hear from Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs R. Clarke Cooper about the ways that the U.S. leverages security assistance and military sales to advance its own objectives and interests around the world. The Assistant Secretary will offer his perspective on the most pressing state and non-state threats facing the country and the world, and the ways that the U.S. is working alongside allies to counter these threats.
