The Meridian Global Journalism Initiative will kick off on September 2 with MeridianOnline virtual program "Covering COVID Globally: Changes in Reporting, Newsrooms and Press Freedoms." Dr. Courtney Radsch, Committee to Protect Journalists global spokesperson for press freedoms; POLITICO editor in chief Matthew Kaminski; and Nadia Bilbassy, Washington Bureau Chief, Al Arabiya, will discuss the impact of the pandemic on their work, in conversation with Meridian Council member Shaila Manyam, Senior Vice President of International Public Affairs for Burson Cohn & Wolfe, who is also a former U.S. Embassy spokesperson and foreign service officer.
