Summary of Position:

The Coordinator, International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Administration provides administrative and grant management support to IVLP Leadership. The position also manages Visitor Services activities and reporting under the IVLP Collaborative Services Grant and serves as the central point of contact for the division’s work with Global Ties US. The Coordinator reports to the Vice President/IVLP Director.

This position is located in Washington D.C. and Meridian requires MD, DC, or VA residence for all employees. The position may work partially remotely until further notice. Effective October 1, 2021, all Meridian staff engaged in on-campus or in-person Meridian activities are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless a reasonable medical or religious accommodation is approved.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to IVLP Team Leadership, including support for grant reporting, renewal and rebid.
  • Manages Visitor Services (Federalism Briefings, Capitol Hill Tours, Home Hospitality) in support of the IVLP Collaborative Services cooperative agreement and prepares monthly, quarterly and annual statistical reports.
  • Serves as POC for Global Ties U.S. (GTUS) Community Based Member updates, Network DC presentations and staff participation in GTUS meetings and workshops.
  • Carries out other administrative duties, including reconciling the team credit card bill, preparing prepaid debit cards for IVLP participants, paying division-wide invoices and supporting
  • Completes all organizational administrative responsibilities in a timely manner and meeting all organizational administrative deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • At least 2 years of applicable work experience.
  • Experience with USG grants, preferred.
  • Experience with government procurement, preferred.
  • Familiarity with USG exchanges, helpful
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams is necessary for this role
  • Experience with Canvas, Zoom and Salesforce is helpful
