Young Leaders: Women in Political and Social Affairs

• To highlight the role that NGOs, universities and the media play in in addressing issues that affect women and that foster the advancement of women and society;
• To observe NGO programs that support women's political participation and economic opportunities and protect women’s rights;
• To illustrate ways in which women can lead in conflict mediation and community transformation;
• To learn about effective advocacy in communities and with diverse groups; and
• To explore building relationships with media outlets and using social media to promote a cause or counter disinformation.
