Iraq Oil and Gas Reverse Trade Mission

On behalf of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), Meridian International Center implemented Reverse Trade Mission (RTM) for a delegation of energy sector officials from Iraq’s Ministry of Oil, State Company for Oil Projects, North Oil Company, Midland Refineries Company and South Oil Company. The project supported economic growth in Iraq and the modernization of the country’s energy infrastructure. The participants traveled to Washington, DC and Houston, TX for meetings and site visits with U.S. companies USG agencies and industry associations. The RTM also included al training program that targeted the improvement of Iraq’s equipment and inspection standards, techniques and methods.
