India Ports Reverse Trade Mission

Meridian conducted a Reverse Trade Mission (RTM) for the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) for a delegation of 12 officials from India’s port sector. During the week of September 22-29th, these officials visited Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, San Diego and Los Angeles, CA. The program familiarized the participating officials with U.S. technologies, products, equipment, services and best practices in port infrastructure, modernization and security, and the delegation met with U.S. companies that can competitively respond to up-coming procurements in the Indian port sector. This program is part of a two-RTM Transportation Infrastructure Exchange Program; the Rail RTM will be conducted by Meridian’s subcontractor, TERA International, later this year.
