Spencer is a recent graduate of Ursinus College with a B.A. in Politics and East Asian Studies, and a minor in Japanese and International Relations. During her time in college, Spencer studied East Asian Politics and Japanese at James Cook University in Townsville, Australia. In her last semester, she presented research at the Greater Philadelphia Asian Studies Consortium Undergraduate Research Conference. Most recently, Spencer balanced two internships working as a Program Assistant at The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation and assisting with research efforts at the Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission. Previously, she worked as a Writing Fellow and Tutor in the Writing Center and as a Study Abroad Peer Advisor at Ursinus College.
