Nick Z. Sussman serves as the Director of Baseball and Softball Operations at the Academy. In this role, Sussman is responsible for overseeing the entirety of the baseball and softball program, including the implementation of the Summer League. Professionally, Sussman has been involved in coaching baseball in some form or fashion since 2008. In addition to assisting the baseball program at St. Albans, his roles have included Program Director at DC RBI, Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Pomona College, Director of Instruction at Headfirst Baseball and, most recently, Owner and Director of Win Within Baseball. Over the years, he has run numerous clinics in a voluntary capacity and has been a frequent contributor to after-school baseball/softball sessions over the past few years. He recently ran several baseball clinics in Japan through a partnership with the U.S. Department of State and Meridian International Center. Having grown up in the Washington area, he attended the Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, and graduated from Kenyon College in 2005, where he starred as an All-NCAC third baseman. He earned an MBA from Lynn University in 2011.
