Lauren Katzenberg is the co-founder and managing editor of Task & Purpose, a news site for veterans, by veterans. She sits on the editorial board of War on the Rocks, an online platform for analysis, commentary and multimedia content on foreign policy and national security issues. Katzenberg is also a Defense Council member at the Truman National Security Project. Prior to launching Task & Purpose, she spent two years in Afghanistan working with local filmmakers and journalists.
