Ignacia Nuñez is the Founder of Minka, a Chilean fashion brand that creates job opportunities for socially-vulnerable women. Minka trains its workers through the “empower by doing” model, training women in eco-design techniques that allow them to be hired into the company as artisans. In its five years of operation, Minka has trained 50 women. She is also the Director of the Social Innovation Center at the Universidad Finis Terrae and the Founder of Mooi Florería, a flower delivery service. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design from the Universidad Diego Portales.
