Groundbreaking Emirati art exhibition makes second stop on national tour.

WHAT: Past Forward: Contemporary Art from the Emirates, a groundbreaking cultural diplomacy program and art exhibition, is being unveiled in Texas as part of the exhibition’s 18-month national tour. Past Forward, curated by Meridian International Center, in partnership with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Washington, DC, showcases the UAE’s compelling national narrative and rich cultural heritage. Paintings, photographs, sculptures, video installations, and other media by 25 notable Emirati artists will be simultaneously displayed at Artspace111 in Fort Worth and the World Affairs Council headquarters in Dallas for public viewing. The artworks showcase the creativity radiating throughout the Emirati art scene and highlight the development and history of the UAE.
