Meridian and Gallup Discuss Global Opinion of World Leaders with Sen. Richard Lugar

On April 21, 2015, Meridian and Gallup co-hosted the sixth annual Global Leadership Project, entitled Rating World Leaders: What People Worldwide Think of the U.S., China, Russia, the EU and Germany, at which the findings from Gallup’s latest global opinion survey of over 130 countries were released and discussed.

Secretary Carlos Gutierrez, Chairman of the Meridian Board of Trustees, provided opening remarks and welcomed the cross-sector audience, including many representatives of the diplomatic community. Jon Clifton, Managing Director of the Gallup World Poll, presented the survey data and analysis, providing context for the subsequent conversation between Senator Richard Lugar, President and Chairman of The Lugar Center and Ambassador Stuart Holliday, Meridian President and CEO. The interview was followed by an engaging Q&A session.
