In addition to teaching English, running health clinics, and performing many other activities, Peace Corps Volunteers provided vocational training in agriculture and animal husbandry for local farmers and herders. Procella brought ten years of experience in the livestock industry to his work with the Helmand-Arghandab Valley Authority, America’s most extensive foreign aid program in Afghanistan.
