The Educational Outreach Programs Office seeks full time and part time interns in the fall, spring, and summer to assist the Program Manager and Director with daily activities of the International Classroom program and with development and maintenance of Meridian’s Culture Box Library. Meridian interns enjoy a vast array of exposure to the international arena, and benefit from the organization’s exceptional art and world affairs series. Educational Outreach interns play a vital role in the success of our programs. The internship couples experience in the field of international education with a unique opportunity for creative project management.

Meridian’s Educational Outreach department is unique among global education programs because it goes beyond ordinary classroom learning, facilitating genuine two-way intercultural exchanges. As we target the students in the DC public schools, most of our students receive free or reduced priced lunches. We provide all of our programs free of charge and require rely on the generous support of foundations, corporations and individuals. We encourage you to join us in our mission of bringing global citizenship and open a world of possibilities to children in DC neighborhoods.
